- Put dal and vegetable in a pressure cooker. Add turmeric and salt to it. Add one cup of water. Now cook it for 10 minutes or till 2 to 3 whistle on medium flame.
- Let it cool. Then whisk it nicely. Now add 2 cups of water and whisk it again.
- Now heat oil in a woke. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds,curry leaves,red chillies and asofodita. Let it cool for 2 minutes. Now add sambhar masala,red chilli powder and chaat masala to it. Cook it for a minute.
- Now add cooked dal to it and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Sambhar is ready. Serve it with plane rice. It tastes so yummy.
