- Get 4 cups chhole chana soaked n boiled
- Prepare 1 tomato crushed

- First of all, wash the chana n soak in enough water overnight. Then pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistle n keep on medium to low flame for about 20 mins.
- Now crush 1 tomato in grater n prepare tempering, ingredients mentioned above
- Heat oil n temper it. Saute for a while n add the masalas mentioned above. Saute the masalas for a while.
- Add crushed tomato n some water n let everything cook well on medium flame. When oil separates from the masalas add chana n green chilli to it n add some more water n simmer for 5 mins.
- Take jaggery and add with chhole chana. Let it simmer until it dissolves into it. Now soak the tamarind in hot water for few minutes then squeeze it n add with chhole chana n mix well.
- Add Coriander leaves n serve hot with puri.
