- Provide For Idiyappam-
- Get 1 cup rice flour
- Get 1 tsp oil
- Provide to taste Salt
- Provide 1.25 cup water
- Prepare For Egg Curry-
- Prepare 5 boiled egg
- Use 1 chopped onion
- Take 3 onion for paste
- Get 8-10 garlic cloves
- Prepare 2 inch cut ginger
- Prepare 2 green chilli
- Use 1 bay leaf
- You need 1 cardamom
- Get 1/2 tsp jeera
- Use 1 pinch asafoetida
- You need 4-5 bits of black pepper
- Provide 1 mace (javitri)
- Take 1 cinnamon
- Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- You need 1/4 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- Use 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Use 1 tsp garam masala
- You need 2 tbsp meat masala powder
- Take 2 tsp coriander powder
- Take 10-12 Curry leaf
- Use as needed Coriander leaves
- Use to taste Salt
- Take as needed Oil
- Get as needed Hot water
Instructions to make Malabar idiyappam & egg curry:
- First of all collect idiyappam ingredients. Now take a non-stick kadhai and add 1.25 cup water. When water is boiling,now add 1tsp oil and salt.
- Now add rice flour and mix it well at least 5min. No lump is generate. Now cover at least 15min.
- After 15min,to make a soft dough. Take a sev maker machine, place oil inner side wall of machine.
- And put rice dough in to the machine and make beautiful design,like that.
- Take steamer or idli stand..heat water and place idli stand with rice idiyappam. Wait 15min, after check idiyappam is ready.
- Now we start egg curry. First of all collect ingredients,with spices and boiled egg. Fry the boiled egg in oil until golden brown in colour.
- Now take a non-stick kadhai,add some oil for dry spices and curry leaf. Stire 30 sec then add chopped onion. When onion is turn light pinkish colour then add onion,ginger,garlic and green chilli paste. Stire at least 2min. After 2min add whole spices and mix it well.
- Until oil is separated,now add fry boiled egg in to masala.. Fry 2min,and add salt and hot water. Now egg curry is ready.
- Serve malabar idiyappam and egg curry with onion rings..
