- You need 4-5 pods green cardamoms
- Prepare 4-5 cloves
- Take 2 sticks cinnamon
- Take 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- Provide As needed oil and ghee
- You need To taste salt
- Provide As needed warm water
Steps to make Mutton curry:
- At first marinate the washed mutton with onion slices(1/2 portion of the quantity) ginger garlic paste (1/2) turmeric powder,red chilli Powder raw papaya paste and oil.keep it for atleast 2 hours.
- Now heat oil in a wide pan add the jeera seeds whole red chilli,bay leaf and whole garam masalas
- Add onion garlic ginger paste saute well till the raw smell disappears
- Add jeera dhaniya powder and red chilli Powder mix well
- Now add the marinated mutton and saute well adding salt and turmeric
- Keep it on a low heat with a lid on it
- Keep stirring so that it will not burn
- Finally when the mutton starts to leave oil add warm water and cover it for 20 -30 mnts
- Finally heat ghee in a tadka pan add garam masala powder and pour it into the mutton curry
- Remove the curry from heat and serve hot
