- Use 1 1/2 cups potatoes boiled, peeled and cubed

- Take 1 cinnamon stick

- Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Provide 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- Use 2 green chilli chopped
- Take 1 pinch sugar
- Provide as per taste Rock salt/sendha namak
- Take 2 tsp ghee/oil
- Provide 1 handful green coriander
- Take 1 tsp lemon juice
- Use 3 tbsp peanuts crushed (optional)
Instructions to make Farali Moriya With Aloo Sabji:
- For moraiyo:- wash and drain the grains.
- In a pan heat the oil or ghee add cumins and curry leaves along with green chillies, potatoes and let them cook.
- And saute for 3-4 minutes add tha samo and stir for a few seconds.
- Now add boiling water and ground peanut if using it.
- Stir well add rock salt cover and lower the heat. Keep checking and stirring so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- When all the water evaporates it's done, mix well.
- For aloo sabji:- Now take clove cinnamon powder crush it to get a fine powder.
- Heat oil in a pan medium heat. Once hot add cumin seeds let them sizzle.
- Then add sesame seeds they will start to pop. Add clove and cinnamon powder.
- Saute green chillies for few seconds add cubed potatoes and mix well.
- Add crushed peanuts, salt and sugar mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Lastly add squeeze fresh lemon juice and stir. Sprinkle chopped cilantro. Turn off the stove.
- Serve moraiyo with aloo sabji and buttermilk.
