- Take 6-7 Curry Leaves

- Prepare 1 tsp Mustards Seeds
- Prepare 1 tsp Red Chilli powder

Instructions to make Besan Dal:
- Wash, and soak yellow lentils for 20 min. Now take in pressure cooker, add turmeric powder, crushed garlic, asafetida, salt. Add sufficient amount of water and cook for 4-5 whistle. Off the flame.
- Now heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds. As these start crackling,add curry leaves.
- Now add chopped onion. Cook till golden brown.
- Now add chopped tomato, cook till it becomes soft.
- Now add gram flour, and cook 3-4min at low flame or till a get an aroma.
- Now add spices and cook 1-2 min. Add some water and cook for min.
- Now add cooked yellow lentils and salt. Mix well cook for 2-3min.
- Now add chopped coriander leaves, jaggery and lemon juice. Mix well. Off the flame, besan dal is ready to serve.
