- Take drumstick
- You need potato
- Use fenugreek seed
- Get onions
- Prepare ginger/garlic paste
- Get chilli powder
- Take turmeric powder

Steps to make Data Aloo (Drumstick and potato curry):
- Wash, peel and cut the drumsticks and potatoes.
- Heat 2tbsp mustard oil in a kadhai and saute the drumsticks on high flame. Keep aside.
- Then in the same oil fry the potatoes and keep aside.
- Heat 3tbsp oil in the same kadhai and add fenugreek seeds. When it starts spluttering add chopped onions. Fry till it's light brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt. Cook with little water till oil leaves on the sides. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook.
- Then add the fried drumsticks and potatoes. Stir and add 2 cups water.
- Cover the lid and cook for 5 mins on low flame.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with boiled rice and some papad/chips.
