- Heat a pan add 2tbs oil, add mustard, let it splutter, add cumin, dry chilli, curry leaves. stir well. Add tomato and ground paste until tomato becomes soft.
- Now add drained water, tamarind extract, salt and cover. Let it boil for 10 to 15 mins in medium flame.
- Remove and add chopped coriander leaves. Now the hot nutritious rasam is ready to serve. You can drink this as soup.
