  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight. In a cooker, add the soaked chickpeas and water. Also add to it the tea bag and bay leaf. Cook it on medium flame with 6-7 whistles.
  2. In a pan, add the oil and butter together. Then put the mustard and cumin seed. Let it crackle. Now add the cloves and black cardamon. When it starts leaving aroma, add in the chopped onion.
