The ingredients needed to prepare Idli Sambhar:
- You need Homemade Sambar powder
- Take 1 tsp oil
- Use 1 tsp urad dal
- Use 1 tsp chana dal
- You need 1 tbsp cumin seeds

- Use 1/3 cup Coriander seeds
- Take As needed Curry leaves

- You need 2 tsp oil
- You need 2 dried red chilli
- Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Use 1 tsp fenugreek leaves
- You need 1 pinch Hing/asafoetida
- Take As needed curry leaves
- Provide 1 onion sliced
- Use 1 tomato chopped
- Provide 1 potato cubed
- Use 5-6 beans chopped
- Provide 1/2 small brinjal chopped
- Get 1/2 small bottle gourd cubed
- Use 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1 tsp salt
- Use 1 cup water
- Get 1-2 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Prepare 2 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
- You need For instant idli
- Use 1 cup rava/sooji
- Use 1 cup curd
- Get to taste Salt
- Take 1 pinch baking soda

Instructions to make Idli Sambhar:
- Heat oil and a large kadai, add 2 tsp oil add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dried red chilli, fenugreek leaves saute for a minute. Add onion, greenchilles cook for a minute.
- Now add tomato cook for a minute.
- Now add mixed vegetables and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add all spices, tamarind pulp and 2 cup water mix well and cover and boil for 10-15 minutes.
- Now add boiled both dals and 1.5 cup water and prepared homemade sambar powder, Coriander leaves mix well cook for 10-12 minutes until the flavours well absorbed.Ready
- (Instant Rava idli):- Take a bowl add Rava, curd, salt baking soda and some water mix well make a medium consistency batter.
- Grease idli stand with oil pour with spoon idli batter into the mould and microwave for 4-5 minutes.
- Or steamed on gas for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot sambar with hot steamed idli.
