- Get 1 kg mutton pieces
- Provide 1 cup ghav (wheat kernels)
- Use 1/4 cup toor dal
- Get 1/4 cup moong dal
- Take 1/4 cup masoor dal
- Provide 1/4 cup urad dal
- Take 1/4 cup chana dal
- You need 1/4 cup rice
- Use 12-15 green chillies
- Get 1 big piece of ginger
- Get 1 tbspn ginger garlic paste
- Provide 3 medium roughly chopped onion
- You need 4-5 tbspn oil
- Provide Salt
- Take Water
- Get 1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
- Get 1 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- Take 10-15 curry leaves
- You need 15-18 garlic cloves
- Use 1 cup fried onion
- You need 1 bunch mint leaves
Steps to make Mutton haleem๐๐๐:
- Take 1 cup of ghav (wheat kernels) add water and soak overnite. Same way add all the dals 1/4 cup each(toor dal,moong dal,masoor dal,chana dal and urad dal) and 1/4 cup rice in a bowl add water and soak overnite!
- Take a very big vessel fill with water till almost more than hlf portion add roughly 3 medium chopped onion,1tbspn ginger garlic paste,12 to 15 green chillies,1 big piece of freshly chopped ginger and 4 to 5 tbspn oil close the lid and let it boil! Once it's starts boiling add soaked ghav (wheat kernels) and washed 1 kg mutton pieces (uncooked) keep on mixing it!
- Again it starts to boil add all the soaked dal and rice add 1 1/2 tsp of coriander seeds and 1 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds keep on mixing it till everythg is combined and cooked well! Add salt to it #NOTE - add salt only after mutton is almost cooked# Note - wenever you feel water is needed more,always add hot water to it cook till it's thick and mutton also cooked well as everything we used is uncooked! Ready!
- Take a pan add little oil,add some fresh curry leaves and chopped garlic saute, add to the haleem mix it well! Take out in a plate garnish with fried onions and chopped mint leaves! serve hot!
