Instructions to make Chicken curry:
- Clean and marinate the chicken with vinegar,oil,curd and chilli powder for few hours or overnight
- Heat some oil in a pan and put the whole garam masala spices and cumin seeds. Once they crackle add the bay leaves and half of the chopped onions onto it and saute till golden brown
- Add the paste of rest onion, ginger and garlic into this and saute it well. Add tomato paste and then turmeric, salt and jeera powder and mix well
- Once the masala is well cooked add the marinated chicken. Mix it well with the masala and let it cook in medium flame with lid covered
- After few minutes saute the chicken and add water as needed and bring it to boil
- Let it cook till the chicken softens. Once done add garam masala from top and remove. Serve hot with rice or parathas
