- Provide 300 gm boiled potatoes, chopped into chunks
- Prepare 1 tbsp + 1 tsp cooking oil
- Take 1/4 cup coconut paste
- Provide 2 medium tomatoes, puried
- Use 1 tsp ginger paste
- Provide 1 green chilli chopped
- Provide 1 tsp cumin coriander powder

- In a kadhai heat 1 tsp oil. Fry the boiled potato chunks lightly on medium to low flame for 2 minutes. Keep the fried potatoes on a plate.
- To the same kadhai, heat rest 1 tbsp oil,bay leaf with ponch phoran and allow to splutter.
- Add turmeric and red chilli powder and saute for half a minute on low flame.
- Mix chopped green chilli and ginger paste and saute for a while.
- Add tomato paste, coconut paste and cumin coriander powder. Saute on medium heat till the oil separate from cooked masala.
