- You need 700 gm chicken
- You need 200 gm yogurt
- Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Use 6 dry red chilli

- Take 700 gm Marinated chicken pieces
- Use 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
- You need 1 bowl chopped onions
- Prepare 1 crushed garlic
- Get 2 tsp grated ginger
- Use 3 dry bay leaves
- You need 2 Cinnamon
- You need 4 Cardamom
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Use 2 tsp Jeera powder
- You need 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take 1 tsp sugar
- Use 3 tbspn white oil
Instructions to make Dahi Chicken curry:
- Marinate the chicken : Add 1tspn red chilli powder to the chicken. Mix the yoghurt well and add it. Add 6dry red chilli. Add salt as per taste. Mix it well. Cover with a lid and let it rest for 20mins.
- Make the gravy: Add 3tbspn white oil and heat it. Add 4 cardamom and 2 cinnamon. Add 3 dry bay leaves. Add the chopped onions. Mix it well.
- Add the crushed garlic. Mix it well. Add salt as per taste. Add the grated ginger. Add 2tspn turmeric powder. Add 2tspn jeera powder. Mix it well until done. Cover it with a lid and let it cook for sometime.
- Mix the gravy with the marinated chicken : Add the marinated chicken. Mix it well. Cover it with a lid and let it cook.
- Open the lid and mix it well. Add 1tspn sugar. Mix it well. Cover it with a lid and let it cook.
- Cook until the chicken gets well cooked. Then add the chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well. The chicken is ready to be served.
