The ingredients needed to make Bhaji masala:
- Provide 3-4 Potato (peeled & cut into cubes)
- Provide 1 Cauliflower chopped
- Use 1 Capsicum chopped
- Provide 1/2 cup Peas
- Get as needed Water
- Take 1/2 tsp Jeera
- Use 1 spring Curry leaves
- Use to taste Salt
- Take to taste Red chilli powder
- Get to taste Coriander powder
- Take 1/2 tbsp Kasuri methi
- Take 1 tsp Kitchen king masala
- Provide 2 Onion chopped
- Take 2 cups Tomato puree
- Prepare 1 tsp Garam masala
- Take 1-2 Green chilli
- Provide 3 tbsp Butter
- Get 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Take 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
- You need 1/4 tsp Red food colour
Steps to make Bhaji masala:
- In a pressure cooker add potato, cauliflower, capsicum, peas and water. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. Let it cool down. Separate water from boiled vegetables. Don't throw the water. Mash vegetables with potato masher.
- Heat oil and butter in Kadai. Add jeera and curry leaves. Add onion and fry till brown. Add tomato puree and green chilli. Cook for 10 min till raw smell of tomatoes are gone. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, garam masala and kitchen king masala. Mix well.
- Add mashed vegetables and mix well. Add water from vegetables and mix well. Add red food colour and mix.
- Cook for 10 min and switch off the gas. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix.
- Serve hot with pav.
