Almost every single “get healthy” and “weight loss” document you go through will tell you to skip the drive through and make all of your meals yourself. This is literally very true. Once in a while, though, you totally do not want to make a whole meal for your family or even just for yourself. Sometimes all you desperately want is to go to the drive through and get home as quickly as possible. There is no reason you shouldn’t be able to make it happen once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. You are capable of doing this because lots of the popular joints are now marketing “healthy” menu selections to keep their businesses up. Here is the way to find healthy food at the drive through.
Go for the side dishes. It wasn’t that long ago that French Fries were your sole side dish selection at a restaurant. Now lots of the fast food choices have been widened a great deal. Now you can get a range of salads. You may also choose Chili. Baked potatoes can even be bought. Fruit is normally offered. There are a lot of options that you can choose that do not force you to ingest foods that have been deep fried. When you buy your meal through a drive through window, select side dishes instead of just grabbing something premade. When you are doing this you can keep your fat content as well as your calorie counts low.
Fundamental logic states that the best way to lose fat and get healthy is to ban fast food from your diet completely. While, in most cases, this is a good plan, if you make sensible choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month. Once in a while, letting someone else cook dinner is just what you require. There isn’t any reason to feel terrible about going to the drive through when you make healthy decisions!
