The ingredients needed to cook Baghara chakuli:
- Use 1 cup urad dal
- Prepare 2 cup rice
- You need 3/4 tsp salt
- Use 3 big sized onion chopped
- Get 1 tsp punch photon
- Prepare 2 red chillies

Instructions to make Baghara chakuli:
- Soak urad dal and rice separately for approximately 4 hours.
- Then grind them separately and mix the urad dal paste with your hand to make the chakuli too soft.
- Then mix both the paste together and add salt into it. Mix it well and cover it for 1 hour.
- In the meantime prepare the tampering materials.
- Heat a kadai and put oil in it. Then add the punch photon in it.
- When the mustard in the punch photon crackle then add the chopped onion along with red and green chillies and curry leaves.
- Saute it for sometime till the onions become golden brown in colour.
- Then switch off the flame and keep them aside.
- Heat a tawa and grease oil in it and put a ladle full of batter in it and make the chakuli and then add the tampering onions in it.
- After cooking in one side flip it to the other side carefully.
- When both the sides cooked completely then switch off the flame.
- Now your baghara chakuli is ready to serve. Serve hot with any ketchup or chutney.
