- Use 2 cups black chana
- You need 3 Tomatoes, chopped
- Prepare 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Provide 1 pinch asafoetida
- Provide 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1 Chopped green chilli
- Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala
- You need 4 Curry leaves
- Get 1 Grated ginger
- Take 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- Get 2 tbsp desi ghee
- Prepare to taste Salt
Steps to make Chana Paratha:
- Wash and soak black chana overnight in water for around 8-10 hours.
- Drain and transfer them to pressure cooker, add salt and 2 cups water. Pressure-cook them for 3-4 whistles.
- Drain boiled chana and keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, chopped tomatoes, grated ginger, coriander powder, garam masala, green chilli chopped, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
- Cook on medium flame until tomatoes become soft or for around 2-3 minutes with masala.
- Add boiled chana and mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Turn off heat and transfer it to a serving bowl.
- Serve it hot with paratha .
