- Heat a pan add mustard oil fry the boiled potato with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside. Add bay leaf, chopped onion and garlic and saute. Add turmeric powder, cumin coriander chilli and hot masala powder and cook till the oil comes out. Add salt and sugar. Add potato and boiled peas. Add 2 cups of hot water. After 5 mins add bottle gourd ball. Switch off the flame after 5 mins.
