The ingredients needed to make Indari Appam:
- Provide 1 cup urad dal
- Take 2 cups rice flour roasted
- Use 11/2 cups coconut grated
- Get 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

- Soak urad dal for 3-4 hrs and grind to a smooth paste by adding water. To this add grated coconut, garlic, cumin seeds and just grind for few seconds more. In a bowl add two cups of roasted rice flour,grinded urad dal mixture, turmeric powder, fried coconut pieces,fried chopped curry leaves and salt. Mix well using enough water (around 2-3 cups). The consistency of the final batter should be the same as of dosa batter. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
