The ingredients needed to cook Veggie Upma:
- You need 1 cup suji
- Take 1 tsp urad dal
- You need 1/2 tbsp rai
- Use As per taste Salt taste
- You need As per taste Red chilli powder as per taste
- Provide 1/2 tbsp sambhar masala
- Prepare 4 cups water
- Prepare 5-6 curry leaf
- You need 2 tbsp oil
- Take 1 sliced onion
- Use 1 chopped tomato
- Prepare 1 orange carrot chopped
- You need 1 small chopped capsicum
Steps to make Veggie Upma:
- In a pan saute suji for 4-5 minutes as aroma starts coming and suji turns golden brown. Now take it out in a plate.
- Now in pan add 2 tbps cooking oil and add curry leaf,Rai,urad dal and saute for 1 min. Now add chopped carrot and saute for one minute.Now add sliced onion and saute it untill it turns golden brown.
- Now add capsicum and tomato,salt, red chilli powder and sambhar masala.saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add that sauted suji in this mixture with 4cup water and cook untill water is completely soaked
- Now upma is ready and garnish with any nuts and coriander.
