- Take a pressure cooker add washed dal with onion, tomato, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and green chillies with salt and water and pressure cook till 2 whistles.
- Once dal gets cooked add more water and boil and keep aside.
- Now prepare tadka for Dal, take oil add asafoetida with mustard and cumin seeds when it starts crackling add crushed garlic
- When garlic changes colour add, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
