- Prepare 1 tbsp ghee
- Take 1 tbsp cummin seeds/ jeera

Instructions to make Vegetable Kadhi Jeera Rice:
- For vegetable kadhi.. chopped all mentioned vegetables. Blend besan in buttermilk to make smooth mixture with beater.
- In kadhai heat ghee. Add cloves, cinnamon sticks, cummin seeds,bay leaves,red round chillies, green chillies ginger paste, curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and brinjal and saute for 2 mins. Add chopped carrot and saute for 1 minute.
- Add buttermilk- besan mixture,salt and jaggery.mix well. Boil and simmer for 10 mins on slow flame.
- Serve Hot vegetable kadhi garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- For Jeera Rice.. Wash and soak rice for 1/2 hour. Steam rice in pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles.
- In small tadka pan add heat ghee. Do tempering of cummin seeds and bay leaf. Pour this tadka on cooked rice. Mix well. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves at time of serving.
