Sometimes just about all you really want is to go to the drive through and get home quickly. Why shouldn’t you be able to do this every now and then and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet program? This is because a lot of the well-known fast food restaurants out there are trying to “healthy up” their menus. Here’s how it is possible to eat healthfully while you are at a fast food restaurant.
Choose a drive through depending on whether or not it has better options available. Arby’s for example, is void of burgers. Instead, your choices include roast beef and chicken sandwiches, wraps and big salads. - Add diced tomatoes, sugar, and cup of water, then bring to a low boil on medium high heat. There should be slightly to much liquid so you can reduce it for the next 15 minutes. If it gets too dry, add a little water.
- Boil water for noodles. I like to add salt and olive oil to the water as it comes to a boil. Once boil is reached, add noodles.
- Boil until just before noodles are done. The liquid in the porridge will finish them. Otherwise they tend to be overcooked. Drain the noodles and combine with the porridge.
- Let stand a few minutes, then serve.
