- Provide 300 gm medium sized prawn
- Provide 2 cups coconut milk
- Prepare 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Take As per taste salt

- Take 2 cinnamon stick
- Provide 4 whole green cardamom
- Take 4 cloves

Instructions to make Prawn malai curry:
- At first marinate the prawns with turmeric powder and some salt. Keep them aside for 30minutes.
- Heat some mustard oil in a wok and fry the prawns for approx 5mins. Don't overfry them else they will become chewy.keep them aside.
- In the remaining oil, add the bay leaf, cumin seeds and the whole cardamom, cloves and cinnamon stick. Saute till the smell oozes out.
- Add chopped onions and fry till they r golden brown.
- Add half teaspoon of turmeric, ginger paste,cumin powder, coriander powder red chilli powder, salt as per taste and fry them till the raw smell disappears.
- Add the prawns and mix them well for approx 2minutes.
- Add the coconut milk and mix them well for 2minutes.
- Add some water and mix them well. Cover the wok with a lid so that the prawns become soft.
- Add the green chillies and a little bit of sugar.
- Add the garam masala powder and mix it well. Check whether the prawns has become soft.
- Remove it from the flame as soon as the gravy has come to the desired consistency.
