- Wash and boil macroni in salted water till it's 80% cooked. Macroni should not be soggy.
- Heat a pan. Add butter. When butter melts, add refined flour and roast it till becomes light golden.
- Add milk to the flour. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper powder. Stir continuously so that there are no lumps.
- Let the sauce thicken a bit. This should be about 2-3 minutes.
- Now add boiled macroni to this sauce and mix well. Sprinkle mixed herbs.
- Take a pan and dry roast the mixed peppers and cubes of onion. Roast on high flame till vegetables become glossy.
- Now we need to layer. Take a micro wave rectangular bowl. At bottom, butter the bowl. Now layer the vegetables first, next goes the grated cheese and then on top add macroni. Keep doing this till everything goes into bowl. Last layer should be of cheese. In top sprinkle a pinch of herbs.
- Put this into oven and bake it at 200 degrees for 5 mins.
