- Use 1 small bowl gram flour
- Get 1 small bowl very sour buttermilk
- Get 2 bowls water (same bowl proportion for all)
- Prepare as required Salt
- Take Pinch asafoeitida
- Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Take 1 spicy green chilli paste

- Provide 1/4 tsp mustard seeds

Instructions to make Khandavi:
- In a large bowl, add gram flour, buttermilk and water. Mix well and take care no lumps remain. Then add turmeric powder, green chilli paste and asfoitida. Again mix well.
- Add this to big vessel and turn on heat. Keep stirring till thickens a bit. Other side spread oil on platform surface or on plastic paper. Now take a very small amount and spread in corner and wait for a while. Then try to make rolls. If turn rolled then quickly spread thin layer of batter on greased surface.
- Wait for 2-3 mins, then cut with knife in 5 inch by 7-8 inch rectangle shape. Then roll it very carefully and keep aside. Cut it into small 1 inch pieces and take into bowl.
- After taking into bowl, spread some chilli powder to it.
- Heat oil in tadka pan and add mustard seeds, cover with dish or lid and crackle it on high flame, then turn off the heat and add green chilli and curry leaves. Then add sesame seeds and asafoeitida. Wait for a while and then add on khandvi.
- Give a toss so can mix well. Serve hot.
