- Get 1 tbsp chopped coriander paste

- You need 1 tbsp curd
- Use 2 tbsp tomato pureed

- Provide 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- Prepare 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Provide 1/2 cup refined oil for frying onion
- Use 1/2 tsp garam masala
- You need 1 tbsp chopped coriander for garnishing

- Provide 1 tsp Kitchen King Masala
- You need 1 pinch orange red food colour
Steps to make Brown Onion Chicken Curry:
- Marinate chicken with curd, little salt, ginger garlic paste and 1 tbsp mustard oil. Meanwhile deep fry sliced onion till crispy. Set aside. Make a paste of half of fried onions,charmagaz(melon seeds), cashew nuts, chopped tomato and coriander,1 green chilli, malai, curd in a blender.
- Heat 1 tbsp mustard oil and 1 tbsp refined oil or ghee. Add the marinated chicken and toss. Add the blended paste, salt to taste, red chilli powder, pinch of orange red food colour, kitchen king masala and fry. Add 1/2 cup water and cook on low flame till chicken is done and masala coats chicken. Sprinkle garam masala and toss. Garnish with golden fried onions and chopped coriander. Serve with lachha paratha or any Indian flat bread.
