- Take 8 oz package sliced mozzarella cheese

- In large sauce pan, brown beef and sausage. Drain and rinse.
- Return meats to pot and stir in tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
- Bring to boil.

- Assemble lasagna by covering bottom of 9x13 dish with one+ cups of sauce.
- Layer noodles (use approx. 3 noodles). Make sure noodles do not touch edge.
- Cover with another cup of sauce.
- Put 1/3 of the ricotta cheese on top of sauce.
- Put 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.
- Repeat for two more layers: Noodles->Sauce->Ricotta->Mozzarella
- Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil.
- At this point, you can either freeze, refrigerate for a day, or bake.
- Bake covered at 350°F for 30 minutes and 10-15 more minutes uncovered until toasty. (Increase baking time to 40 minutes if lasagna is cold.)
