- Marinate chicken with lemon juice and little salt for 1 hour.Meanwhile make a paste of 1 onion alongwith cashewnuts and melon seeds/charmagaz.Also add chopped tomato,curd, ginger and green chilli and make a paste.
- Heat oil and butter or ghee in a pan.Fry 1 finely chopped onion golden brown and set aside.Sprinkle whole garam masala and lightly fry the chicken.Add the ground paste to the chicken and toss.Add other dry masalas,salt and 1 pinch sugar.Toss all with chicken and add a cup of water approximately. Add crushed kasoori methi.Cook on low flame till chicken is done and masala coats chicken.
