Almost every single article about weight loss and getting healthy tells readers to avoid drive through windows like the plague as well as to do all of their own cooking. There’s some value to that. Occasionally, though, the last thing you want is to have to cook a meal from scratch. Sometimes just about all you desperately want is to go to the drive through and get home as soon as possible. There isn’t any reason that you shouldn’t be permitted to do this and not be plagued by shame about slipping on your diet. You are capable of doing this because most of the popular joints are now marketing “healthy” menu alternatives to keep their businesses up. Here is how you can eat healthy and balanced when you visit the drive through.
Milk, juice and water are the best choices for beverages. When you sip a big soft drink you are adding a whole bunch of empty calories to your day. One portion of pop is eight oz.. That helping usually is made up of a minimum of a hundred calories and more than a few tablespoons of sugar. Most fast food fizzy drinks are at least twenty ounces big. Thirty ounces, however, is a lot more common. This means that your drink alone will put dozens of ounces of sugar into your body as well as several thousand empty calories. Milk, fruit juices as well as plain water are more healthy options.
Simple logic states that the simplest way to lose fat and get healthy is to ban fast food from your diet entirely. Most of the time this is a good idea but if you make beneficial choices, there is no reason you can’t visit your drive through now and then. Often what you need most is just to have someone else do the cooking. If you choose healthy items, the shame usually associated with hitting the drive through shouldn’t be so bad.
