  2. Take 2 medium sized chopped onion

  1. Dry roast semolina for 2-3 minutes in a heavy bottomed pan and transfer to a plate.Keep aside.
  2. Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add oil to it.Add mustard seeds.When seeds start crackling add curry leaves,chana daal and urad daal.Saute for a minute till both daal get slightly roasted.Add onion and green chillies and saute till onion becomes golden brown.
  3. Add suji,water and salt.Mix well.Cover with the lid and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.Squeeze a lemon and again cook for 5 minutes.Transfer to the serving bowl.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and enjoy the healthy and tasty Onion Upma.
