  1. Heat oil in a pan, now add bay leaf, dry chilli, cardamom, and cumin seeds.
  2. As these started crackling, add onion paste. Cook it till golden brown.
  3. Now add ginger and garlic. Cook 2-3min.
  4. Add all spices, and 2tbsp water. Cook for 5 min
  5. Now add tomato puree. Mix it. Cook 4-5 min.
  6. Now add black beans, and salt. Mix well. Add 1cup water.
