The ingredients needed to prepare Dahi vada:
  1. Use 500 gms urad dal
  2. Take as required coriander leaves
  3. Use 1 cup Pomegranate seed
  4. Use 50 grams Curry leaves
  5. Provide 2 to 3 pieces Green chillies
  6. Take 800 grams Dahi (curd)
  7. Get as per taste Sugar and salt
  8. Get as per taste Black salt, roasted cumin powder, mango powder, chilli powder
Steps to make Dahi vada:
  1. Soak the urad dal overnight and drain them.
  2. Grind the urad dal and mix it with green chilli, soda bi curb, salt,curry leaves.
  3. Then make vada and fry them in batches till crisp and golden.
  4. Soak the vadas in water and let them soak for 18-20 minutes. Press each soaked vada into your palms to remove water.
  5. Beat the chilled sour curd with salt, sugar, cumin powder, black salt powder, mango powder. And put the vadas into the curd mixture.
  6. Now the time for garnishing. Garnish with tamarind chutney, mint Coriander chutney, sev, pomegranate, chaat masala, coriander leaves.
