  1. Wash and soak channa dal for 4 hours. Peel and chop bottle gourd into cubes.

  3. Add soaked channa dal and bottlegourd pieces. Mix and saute for 2 mins.
  4. Add salt,red chilli powder, dhania jeera powder, jaggery and cocum. Mix well. Add 1/2 glass of water(as bottle gourd will leave water during pressure cook) and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
