  1. Take 400 grams Beef shoulder, thinly sliced or offcuts
  2. You need 1 to 1 1/2 large Onion
  3. You need 60 to 70 ml White (or red) wine
  4. Get 2 to 3 tablespoons Sugar
  5. Take 60 ml Soy sauce with dashi stock (or mentsuyu)
  6. Get 100 ml Water
  7. Get 1 dash less than 2 tablespoons Mirin
  8. Provide 1 dash of each Salt and pepper
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp Oil
