Instructions to make Dudhi na muthiya:
  1. Take a bowl and grate bottle guard. And add garlic ginger and green chilli paste.
  2. Later add coarse whole wheat flour, plain wheat flour and besan.
  3. After that add oil, salt, asafoetida, turmeric, red chilli powder, ajwain, cumin seeds, curd, jaggery, cumin coriander powder, garam masala and mix it well.
  4. Make a dough and add some water if needed. Here I am not using water, water from the vegetables to form the dough.
  5. Grease the plate with oil of the steamer. Take a portion of dough of muthia and shape it into cylinderical shape and put it into plate of steamer.
  6. Place the steamer plate in the steamer and steam for 30 minutes. You can check by inserting knife or toothpick. If it comes clean or non sticky then it is cooked.
  7. After that cool the muthia, and cut into slices.
  8. For tempering : take a pan and add oil, mustard seed, sesame seeds, curry leaves and add the muthia in it and mix it well.
  9. You can take it with milk, chutney, pickle etc. Serve it and enjoy.
