  1. You need 300 gms Sooji/Rava
  2. Provide 1/2 litre Curd
  3. Provide 100 gms Roasted Vermicelli
  4. Provide As needed Salt
  5. Take handful Few Curry leaves
  6. Use Handful Few Coriander leaves
  7. Use For tempering:
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp Ghee
  9. Take 1 tbsp Chana dal
  10. Take 10 Cashews
  11. You need 4 Green chillies
Steps to make Sooji idli | Rava idli:
  1. Take curd and churn it with a churner. Then add roasted vermicelli to it.
  2. Add sooji/rava to it and mix well.
  3. Now temper the ingredients until it becomes golden brown.
  4. Add the tempered ingredients to the batter.
  5. Add the leaves and salt as needed.Mix well.
  6. Make the batter to this consistency. Batter should not be liquid consistency.
  7. Now let's start making idli. Add grated carrots and keep it in the idli mold.
  8. Pour the batter in the idli mold.
  9. Steam it for 15 to 20 minutes. Sooji/rava idli is ready.
