Before you jump to Vegetarian Samosa recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Finding Healthful Fast Food.

Just about any article you read about restoring your health or losing weight is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. This is really excellent information. But sometimes the last thing you wish to do is make a whole supper for yourself and your family. Once in a while you just want to check out the drive through when you are on your way home and finish the day. Why shouldn’t you have the ability to do this from time to time and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet regime? This can be done because plenty of the popular fast food destinations are attempting to make their menus healthy now. Here is how you can find appropriate food choices at the drive through.

Milk, juice as well as water will be the best choices for beverages. When you drink a large soft drink you are putting too much empty calories to your day. A solitary helping of soda is normally thought to be eight ounces. Those eight ounces tend to be at least 100 calories and around ten tablespoons of sugar. Most fast food soft drink sizes start out at twenty ounces. Typically, though, they are 30 ounces. This shows that your drink alone will put dozens of ounces of sugar into your body as well as several thousand empty calories. Water, fruit juice and milk, on the other hand, are much better choices.

Standard logic tells us that one positive way to get healthy and lose fat is to by pass the drive through and to banish fast food restaurants from your thoughts. While this is usually a good suggestion all you need to do is make a few good choices and going to the drive through isn’t anything to worry about–when you do it in moderation. Sometimes what you need is to let another person produce your dinner. If you decide on healthy items, the shame usually associated with hitting the drive through shouldn’t be so bad.

Instructions to make Vegetarian Samosa:
  1. Place all the vegetables, water, stock cubes, curry & Turmeric powder into a saucepan and simmer until soft.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and place the mix into a bowl and slowly add the dried potato powder until it’s thickened. I like to keep it a little moist like a wet mash. Add salt and pepper to taste, then leave to cool.
  3. Take 4 sheets of pastry and cut in half.
  4. There are two ways to fill Samosas, by creating an envelope folding the pastry down into triangles or the way I will show you to get the same effect.
  5. Place a heaped dessert spoonful of cold mixture in the top corner leaving an edge. Fold over the first turn to create your first triangle, then fold again to make another triangle and repeat the pattern until you reach the bottom. Brush with egg white to create the seal on the last turn.
  6. You can also make mini cocktail rolls for party dinner canapés.
  7. Preheat your oil to about 180 or (test with a corner to see if it’s bubbling)
  8. I normally put 2 in at a time because it’s easier to manage, they only require about 30 seconds max on each side, then flip over until both sides are golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on a cooling rack with a catch tray underneath. That’s it, you are ready to serve.
  9. They can be made in advance and reheated in an oven, ideal snack and easy to make. If you like spicy food try adding some chilli to the veg mix prior to cooking. As always, enjoy.
